We welcome every child and young person who is curious about singing and loves making music together.
Locations
The Vokalhelden choirs rehearse in different age groups at rehearsal spaces in Hellersdorf, Moabit, Schöneberg, and Neukölln. The city-wide Youth Choir rehearses in Tiergarten. Rehearsals take place every week, except during school holidays and public holidays.

Join the Vokalhelden! No audition, no experience needed!
All you need is to be willing to share the joy of singing together and to attend rehearsals regularly, no music reading or any previous training required.
Free participation
All children's choir and concert activities are free of charge. To keep the choir programme open to as many families as possible, the Vokalhelden Association depends on donations and supporters.
When we meet
- Weekly rehearsals: every week, except during school holidays and public holidays.
- Level 1 and above: occasional joint rehearsal days on weekends and performances.
- Level 2 and above: choir trips around Berlin complement the rehearsals.
How to join
If your child would like to sing with the Vokalhelden, just fill in the form below and send us a request. If there are available spaces at your location, you will receive an invitation to a trial rehearsal, where the child can watch a session, try singing, and decide whether the choir is a good fit.
Important note: Our choirs primarily serve children living near the rehearsal sites. At the moment the Schöneberg location and the Jugendchor (Youth Choir) have waiting lists.
